Why We Will Soon Accept Bitcoin

I didn’t build this to be trendy.
I built it because I care about connection.
And I care about what systems I support when I put something into the world.

safehug.me is about permission. Presence. Consent.
It’s about doing things in a way that feels aligned. All the way through.

So I’m choosing to accept Bitcoin only.

Not because I want to make things harder.
Not because I think everyone’s already there.

But because it’s honest.

Bitcoin doesn’t rely on a corporation to approve your love.
It doesn’t take a cut to keep you in line.
Yes, there’s a small transaction fee, but it goes to the people securing the network, not some middleman you didn’t ask for.

Bitcoin doesn’t care where you live.
What bank you use.
Or whether someone thinks your offering is legitimate.

It just lets value move. Directly. Transparently. Peer to peer.

That feels right to me.
